ALPINE CLUB EDELWEISS TEAM BUILDING PHOTO STORY: THE ISKAR RIVER VALLEY /Part two.../ |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
After the first shot of adrenaline, the programme will continue with several relaxing standard team building exercises. They will focus on communication, work synergy and leadership. This segment may also take place at the start of the programme where its purpose will be to break the ice.
Brief relaxation with standard team building exercises is a prelude to more adventures. The team will need to get to the next piece of instructions by using an Alpine rope, and colleagues will need to secure their partner on a no easy mission. The exercise will simulate work under pressure against a deadline. To move on with the game the team will need to use both brawn and brain. They will have to solve a puzzle in order to find out what and where the next objective will be.
The map of the game will take the team down the Iskar River. After brief rowing instructions, the participants will set out on a journey down the river. Boats are an essential team building element. The river journey will hone sync action, internal communication and leadership skills. Rafting is also perfect for relaxation and offers a powerful emotional recharge.
“Cheer up, the road is strenuous! And it is also long and winding.” That slogan for the infantry will rush the team forward and they will have to make a human pyramid in order to get a vital message. By cracking the message, they will learn instructions about the next mission. Mutual help between team mates will be decisive for mastering the challenge.
